Everything this shop knows how to do, in the order it should happen, with nowhere else to be. Ninety minutes is not a haircut with extras bolted on. It is the only appointment in the book that is not working against a clock.
The order of work
Six things, in this order, for a reason.

The haircut
The same haircut as the one on the menu, cut to you, with the time it needs. Brows, nose and ears detailed. Nothing about this part is abbreviated because of what comes after it.

An extended hot-towel face massage
Longer than the one folded into a shave. Hot towels, and the time for them to actually do something. This sits here, directly before the razor, because it is what softens the beard and opens the skin for what follows.

Your choice: the steam shave, or the deluxe beard trim
If you are taking it off: pre-shave oil, steam and hot towels, hot lather, straight razor, aftershave and a cold towel. If you are keeping it: shaped and detailed, hot towel, edges cleaned with a straight razor, aftershave, cold towel, and beard oil or balm. One or the other, not both, and the choice is taken at the chair.

A hot-lather neck shave
Before the sink, not after. Clean edges that are still clean when you leave.

Scalp treatment and massage, washed out at the sink
Treatment worked in, a scalp massage, then washed out properly at the sink. This is the part everybody remembers and almost nobody has had.

Blow-dried and styled, then the finish
Dried and put where it should sit, so you leave looking like the haircut rather than like someone who just had one. A hot towel and a shoulder rub to close, the same way every cut in this shop ends.
What it costs, honestly
Less than the parts.
Booked separately, the haircut, the steam shave and the scalp treatment come to $110 and would sit in three different slots. The Signature is $100 in one, with a longer face massage than any of them carry on their own.
Who it is for
Not only special occasions.
It is the obvious answer before a wedding, a funeral, a first day, or a photograph you will keep. It is also a perfectly good answer to an ordinary Thursday.
If ninety minutes is more than you want to sit still for, the haircut and the steam shave together is seventy-five, and the haircut on its own is forty.
Before you come
Nothing to bring, nothing to prepare.
Come with your hair as it normally is rather than freshly washed and styled: it is easier to cut hair that is behaving the way it behaves for you. Everything else is here.
