Privacy policy
Short version: we keep what you give us so we can tell you when the shop opens and book you a chair, we don't sell it, and every email we send has a way out.
What we collect
Only what you give us. If you join the first-week list, that is your email address and, if you choose to add it, your first name. If you email us, whatever is in that message.
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and has no analytics installed. If that changes, this page changes with it before the change goes live.
What we do with it
- Tell you when the shop opens and when the book opens to the list.
- Send a small number of emails about the opening. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link, and using it stops them.
- Answer you if you write to us.
We do not send text messages from this list. If we ever offer texts, they will be a separate, explicit opt-in with their own consent language, never something you were signed up for by leaving an email here.
Who else sees it
The signup form is processed by our website host (Netlify), which stores submissions on our behalf. The emails are sent through the customer platform we run the shop on. Neither is given your details for any purpose beyond delivering our messages to you. We do not sell, rent or trade the list to anyone.
How long we keep it
While you are on the list. Unsubscribe and your address is removed from the mailing list; ask and it is deleted altogether.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@onyxandaurumbarbershop.com.
