How booking works.
Short version: by appointment only. Be on time, give notice if you can’t make it, and the rest looks after itself.
Appointments
The shop is appointment only, with no walk-in queue: one client in the chair, the next one at their time. There is a seat for you if you are early, and for whoever comes with you. Book through Booksy, where you can see live availability and pick your slot.
Running late
Every service has a set time, and yours starts at the time you booked. If you arrive within 10 minutes of your slot, you’ll still be seen, though the cut may be trimmed to fit what’s left. Later than that, we rebook you rather than rush you, and the missed slot is charged the same as a late cancellation below.
Canceling or moving an appointment
Life happens. Move or cancel with at least 2 hours’ notice and there’s nothing to settle. That is a short window on purpose, when most shops ask for a day. The trade is that inside it the chair can’t be refilled, so for any reason the full price of the service booked is charged to the card on file.
To cancel or move an appointment, use the link in your Booksy confirmation or the Booksy app. A text or chat message doesn’t cancel or move an appointment.
No-shows
A missed appointment is charged at the full price of the service booked, the same as a late cancellation. A small, appointment-only shop can’t absorb an empty slot the way a walk-in shop can. 2 hours’ notice in Booksy is all it takes to avoid it.
Card on file
No deposits. A card on file is required to book, and it is only ever charged for the cases above. You pay for the service on the day in cash or by card through Square. Credit cards carry a 2.6% surcharge at checkout to cover what the card costs to process; debit cards and cash carry none. If something genuinely got in the way, get in touch; refunds are possible, at the shop’s discretion.
Discounts
Military, veterans, police, fire, EMS and anyone 65 or over take $5 off a men’s haircut, and off the Haircut & Beard and Haircut & Steam Shave combos (not buzz cuts, beard trims, packages or retail). We may ask for proof at the shop. Tell us once and it stays on your file. Applied at the chair, not through the booking page.
Boys’ haircuts
Boys are welcome at any age, with no minimum, and a boy’s haircut is the same price as a men’s haircut. There is a seat for a parent to sit in, and if you’d like your own cut the same visit, book the two back to back.
Health and safety
Tools are cleaned and disinfected between every client, razors use a fresh blade every shave, and each barber’s Montana license hangs on the wall. If you wake up unwell, stay home and cancel or move the appointment in Booksy as soon as you know. Do it before the two-hour mark and there is nothing to settle, and we would always rather rebook you than have you in the chair.
